Excellent oven. Induction heating on the cooktop is fantastic. Convection for the range is very effective. Easy to access front controls. Wi-Fi connection and mobile app are very handy. Black stainless finish is a classy high-end look. The only thing we dont like is that pans on the cooktop must match the size of the burner or it wont heat - i.e. if a small pan is used on the large burner an error tune plays and the pan will not heat.

Sadly Disappointing

I would like to point out that I am not the original purchaser of the range. It was newly installed by the seller in a home that I just purchased. I wish I could write a better review but I have been quite disappointed with this ranges cooktop. At first it worked fine with my Caraway and cast iron cookware but after a week all the eyes quit working but one. That one eye would then only work with my cast iron. I bought some induction cookware to see if that would solve the problem but no now only two of the eyes work. My conversation with customer support was completely unhelpful and did not resolve the problem. At this point I have decided that I will be replacing this range when my kitchen remodel is done in the next few months. I give it two stars only because the two eyes that work are pretty awesome. Thankfully I havent had any problems with the oven.

DONT USE THE SELF CLEANING FEATURE

Loved my stove until I used the self cleaning feature and it proceeded to burn up the electronic board between the stovetop and oven making the oven turn off as soon as it got to set temperature. Had to call 6-7 service companies to find one that actually worked on LG appliances. Took a week to get a part and ended up costing $446.00 to replace a part on a 3 year old stove for just using a feature it advertises as a bonus. Feel ripped off.

I am happily. Impressed with the heating of the cook top and the oven bakes beautifully. I have a few suggestions. One is both small cook top burners should not be in the back. At least one should be on the front. The burner meant for keeping foods warm is not needed. There are other options for that. Instead it would be good to have the extra burner as a non induction heating element. The other suggestion is to have a metal lip that sits over the counter as the stove is slid into place. As it is there is a gap for collecting spills. Also the white numbers on the stainless knobs are very hard to see. They should be black.

We purchased this through Costco although we purchased an over the range microwave directly from LG. The range is great far superior to our last. Were still rookies as far as induction goes but everything works beautifully design and function work hand in hand. There was a small scratch on the front of the bottom drawer which could have occurred during transit. LG had a replacement part delivered in two days and a tech installed it for us on the seventh day after delivery. I believe they could have fix it in six days had it not been for hurricane Ian. Thats incredible customer service these days. We love the range.

Cooking control has never been so easy If you arent familiar with what an induction range is its definitely worth conducting research on it to see if it meets your needs. Rapid boil in less than two minutes and zero risk of burning yourself on the glass-top when turned on. Just one caveat with the induction range you can only use stainless steel however we have found that Calphalon makes a stainless steel bottom with non-stick which makes life so much easier Do it

My husband convinced me to go induction I had originally wanted gas. I like the ease speed and control of gas but wow These induction cooktops are awesome. Fast and easy to cook with. A breeze to clean as well. I like the added feature that I can check from my app to see if I have accidentally left a burner on although it would turn off automatically if there was no cookware on it.

Terrible performance and customer service

Ive had this range installed for four months and when cooking on high heat my induction-safe pot bonded to the cooktop. When the pot came off the cooktop glass broke. Ive been trying to access the one-year warranty for over a month and cannot get a straight or meaningful answer from anyone. In addition to that the normal functions are not great. The knob for the oven is counterintuitive and the way to change the settings for cook time are hard to operate. I made a major mistake going with LG and will avoid in the future.

I really enjoy the convection oven feature. The induction heat is fabulous however my range has not full worked since I got it. One of the burners has never worked. After three repair visits two burners are now not functioning properly. I am hoping session four will do the trick.

It took months to get the range delivered but Im loving it. Heats quickly cools quickly subtle heating like gas. Oven is also nice but the racks stick a bit. Ive used convection and regular. I like the sound the range makes when cooking lets me know things are working. I think I will also enjoy the Quick Clean feature. All in all its what I was hoping for. I wanted to love to cook again and I do.

Love induction cooking

This stove was bought during the sales after Thanksgiving 2021 and the price was great. Almost $1000 below retail price for the sale price. It took a little time I got a notice delivery date was canceled and no new was date given until I called the retailer but delivered was only a day later than originally promised. The stove is a new technology for both retailer and LG. When I had a problem testing the induction burners per the manual the service department was more than willing to work with me. First we tried to diagnose the problem using the Smart Diagnosis feature over the phone but the error codes did not translate with the people at support so they set up a service call. The service technician showed up the next day. I tried recreating the issue but used a different larger pot than the first time to test and there was no problem. Seems a medium to small pan was not detected by the large induction burner but worked fine on the other burners. It was a learning experience for everyone and I happily began using my range immediately after. The cooktop is amazing. Heating a pan is quick and temperature adjustments respond much quicker than a traditional electric range. No heating of the kitchen with the heating elements cooling after cooking is done. That is important here in Florida. The oven is beautiful with the blue interior. I have make cakes and breads using the convection feature. I had experience with convention cooking and knew I needed to reduce cooking temperatures and times when using convention. My bread was done baking in less time and came out golden brown and crusty. A spray bottle came with the accessories and was handy to use to spray down the oven when starting the bread baking. Almost like steam injection. My elderly mother has taken a little more time understanding the induction burners with non-stick pans but is getting the hang of it now. I recommended she spray the pan with cooking oil even when browning meats to avoid sticking. That trick seems to work for her. Her pineapple upside down cake came out perfect. I love that the range interfaces so easily with Amazon Alexa. The LG app setup makes it simple. Now Alexa tells me when the pre-heat is ready. I can even check remotely if the oven is on. It is a great addition to the LG fridge and dishwasher that also communicate via Bluetooth and the internet. It has been a great addition to the creation of my smart home. I am looking forward to reduced electricity costs with the new appliances even though Florida Power and Light increased rates in January. I highly recommend this range to anyone that is looking to move their cooking skills into the 21st century.

Fantastic Cooktop

I have always loved induction cooking and the cooktop is amazing. However I only gave four stars or these reasons. The burner indicators on the front of the stove appear too light and a bit cheap when compared to the overall look of the stove. The burner indicators are in a silver-ish finish and tend to disappear if you have bright light shining directly on them - as is the situation in my kitchen. A nice dark black enamel paint would have been the perfect upscale appointment to help the user determine which knob to use for which burner. The oven is perfectly calibrated and I have used it almost daily with perfect results. Thank you LG for that

I am considered a foodie and a very accomplished cook....studying cookbooks and creating good food is my happy place. All my cooking life was spent on gas ranges and I was thoroughly on board with the opinion that serious cooks demand gas ranges . So it was with great alarm and disappointment that I learned that the lovely kitchen in our recently purchased retirement home could not accommodate a gas range I was fit to be tied and very frustrated. My darling husband said if that was the case he would buy me an induction range as he had read good things about them. I find my lovely LG Induction Range to be a marvel...beautiful to look at easy to use and most importantly super responsive and fast. Other than for the occasional need to char say peppers or tortillas over an open flame and I have a portable single burner for that I have not missed having gas in any way It is a revelation Of course there is also the supreme ease of clean up.....no messy drip pans or heavy grates. I have even found the oven to be a happy surprise....besides being a stunner it is way faster to preheat than any gas range I ever had So it is goes without saying that I am very very pleased with my LG Induction Range and have been singing its praises to my serious cook friends and family

We bought this range because I really liked the speed that it does minor tasks such as boil water as well as the even controlled heat with which to cook more complicated meals. The intuitive controls make it easy to use so there was really no learning curve except the afore mentioned speed. It also nice because it heats the food and not the whole range top. Living in Florida that means less air conditioning.Efficiency good looks and ease of installation and use were the reasons we purchased it . We were not disappointed.

I bought this because we wanted quicker cooking with the convenience and ease of cleaning a glass top. We bought some cheaper induction-friendly pots from Walmart and ordered a nice set online. Pros: induction range glass top mid-range price for induction knobs instead of buttons Cons: Writing on knobs difficult to see in low light needs more contrast. Sensor often wont detect smaller pots on larger burners. For that reason I would rather have smaller burners in front larger in back. I dont even use the keep heated burner it is wasted space. Too many button pushes to do anything like having to press start after selecting anything. I would rather have a temperature select knob for the oven temp: just turn and be done. Button push timing not quite right to set time or temp. It scrolls either too fast or too slow I always overshoot the correct time. Doesnt display the timer while the oven is preheating it just shows the current temperature.

I bought this stove 2 years ago and was excited about the convection oven and the induction cooktop. I have been satisfied with the oven but the cooktop is nothing but trouble. 2 of the 4 burners stopped working at 24 months and it was out of warrantee at 12 months. I only am in residence 6 months a year so the amount of actual usage was not even 12 months. This was followed by 3 months and 6 visits by a repairman who could not get the stove top operational. I finally made a financial settlement with LG but it has been a long procedure and I still do not have a fully working cooktop .

I have managed to reduce my electrical consumption due to the quick heating action and reduced amount of time waiting for the heating element to get to temperature. The convection oven also contributes to saving due to lower temperature-25 degrees in convection mode.

When I needed a new stove I knew I wanted induction. It is energy efficient and much quicker to respond to temperature adjustments. I had to buy nearly all new cookware and am still collecting items as I find a use for them. It takes some time to learn a new stove but now that I have used it for 6 weeks I am very happy with how the heat holds at a steady temperature and the burners respond to changes. The convection oven works great and cooks at a 25 degree lower temperature because of the fan-circulated heat. The stove top is attractive and very easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this stove.

I have had my new range for about a year. Beautiful range and the induction heating is very nice. Unfortunately while taking a glass bowl out of the microwave I dropped it onto the glass top and cracked it. The burners still work but the range certainly lost some of the beauty.

Purchased this range and used for about 6 months and oven would shut off. Repair person came and put in new electronic board. Came back to my winter home tried it and it again did the same thing after using twice. Now no longer under warranty and have to pay for another board.

Knobs nearly impossible to read

I have had the unit for a few days and it works fine. BUT the labels on the knobs are light gray on a silver background and I need a flashlight to read them even though the kitchen is well lit. The letters are on the edge of the knob and you have to be just above the knob to see them and even then have to twirl the knob to catch the lettering in just the right way. I am asking LG to send me better knobs if they have them.

My LG range LSE4616BD was delivered a couple of weeks ago. Ive used both the range and the oven numerous times since. On Bake Ive found I had to leave some things in longer than recipes called for. On convection the cooking time is a bit shorter. Everything has turned out perfect. The induction range is amazing when it comes to heating water or anything else. So quick. The extension that attaches to the back of the range to cover gaps between range countertop is a little weird. We raised the range so the extension would sit on the counter top. There were no written instructions on how the extension should work so assuming we did the correct thing. Had they made the back of the range flat the extension piece would not be needed and it would have been better.

Love it. Really wanted gas but didnt want to deal with running gas line so my brother suggested induction. So good to not get hot. Makes me feel safe with my teenagers cooking. The oven is unreal. Just now appreciating not being heated from the bottom. Any rack the same and such even cooking.

I have had the unit for 3 weeks and so far it has performed excellent. The Induction process is great very easy to control temp. A little goes a long way is a good way to describe how to cook on it. Use lower values on range top than you would expect. Convection is great for bread. 1 roast was excellent.

This is the first time I bought the induction stovetop with convection oven. I did a lot of research on induction as i have always hated electric stoves and love gas but my setup was only electric. I absolutely love it I really like that the oven can be used either as a regular oven or convection. It was more expensive than a standard electric stove but Im so glad I chose this model from LG.

I love the fact that all burners on the cook top have the fast/quick heating option. It boils water faster than using a kurig for instant coffee. Also the oven doesnt blast me with steam/heat when I open the door to take out what I cooked. The sound the oven and the timer makes is pleasant and different for me to know where it is coming from.
