We purchased this gas cooktop last summer. Within months the knobs were breaking. After 1 year every knob has broken and Electrolux says the warranty doesn't include the knobs. Ever. To top it off the cost to replace EACH knobs ranges from $35-$70 a piece! We are highly disappointed that a well known brand makes such inferior products and doesn't back them up with a warranty. I don't think I will ever buy this brand again unless they are willing to replace all of my knobs.

Shopped a lot for a cooktop that would fit the hole in our granite countrrtop for this gas replacement to our electric cooktop. I was drawn to this for the 5 burners and black option (we don't have stainless steel appliances and didn't want stainless) and the solid reviews. Was surprised by the highly competitive cost. When it was installed, we were all impressed. We've had it for a couple months now and are extremely happy with the purchase!

The gas cooktop looks fantastic. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. My only complaint, if any, is that it gets dirty very quickly and smudges when cleaned. I purchased a fitted liner, made just for this unit, and that does help. The grates are very heavy, so use caution when removing to clean.

Not So Great Grate

Purchased for remodel but have not been able to use yet due to 3 faulty center grates. The one that came with the unit was broken upon delivery, the second had missing rubber feet which would cause scratches to the unit, the 3rd came broken. This one though wasn't a full piece which means it wasn't broken during shipping but was actually packaged that way! The 4th is arriving today but my hopes aren't high which is about the same that I'm feeling about the unit once we get it installed. Actually considering returning based on these experiences.

The cooktop functions fine. I don™€™t like the large, heavy grates. It makes it more difficult to clean under them. I much preferred the one I had previously (that died after 30 years) that had gas burners on a glass cooktop. Much easier to clean.

I am very pleased with the new 30" Frigidare cooktop purchased recently. The center burner with 18000 BTU's boils water in half the time of my previous cooktop. Pots are more stable because the gradings are flat and level allowing pots slid across between burners without lifting them.

After cooking for a couple of decades with a two burner stove with a side grill, it is quite refreshing to have 5 available burners. Quite impressed with the low settings on the burners. The center high volume burner works great for quick boiling. The grates are solid. Overall, the cooktop is reasonably easy to clean-up. The big problem so far, is that the painted on markings, including the brand name on the left and the burner position markings are disappearing with every wipe of a dish cloth, using only water and Dawn dish soap.

My 25+yr old gas cooktop was a mess, stained and not all the ignitors worked so I had to light them with a lighter. I LOVE MY NEW COOKTOP. All burners ignite quickly and with 5 burners I can cook up a storm! I was a little concerned that 5 burners on a 30" cooktop would be too tight to actually use simultaneously but layout of the burners works fine. I also love that the burners have a range of BTUs so I can use different burners depending on what I am cooking. Do happy with this purchase.

I have always loved cooking with gas but when we bought our home 16 years ago with a new Frigidaire electric glass cooktop, we just talked about changing it to gas. Even though the electric cooktop was still working great, I was cooking more than ever with the Covid Stay Home scenario. I'm so happy we made the change. This cooktop fit perfectly as a drop in. The flame adjustment was minimal as they were set at a great default level. It has been easy to keep clean and the grates can be placed in the dishwasher. We expect many wonderful years of cooking with gas!

I love my new Frigidaire 30" Gallery Series Gas Cooktop

I have been using my new Frigidaire 30" Gallery Series Gas Cook-top now for a few weeks and I just love it. I like that the ignition on all the burners is instantaneous and how convenient that 5th burner is. That one also heats up super fast so it's great for boiling water really fast. I think the cook-top looks great on my counter and it matches the Gallery Series Microwave and Oven in my kitchen. The only drawback was how long I had to wait to get it because of a backup in the supply chain because of Covid-19 but in the end, I love it so much that I feel it was definitely worth the wait. I can highly recommend this cook-top.

Bought this cook top to replace one that inexplicably caught fire. My wife loves the layout of this new top. Cooking grates are very solid and the center burner is ideal for bigger stock pot, etc. Cooktop is very easy to clean unlike our old one. Installation was simple and straightforward. This unit is deeper than the old one so I had to modify the cabinet drawers but I was prepared for that. We installed a new Frigidaire Oven last year and have been very happy with the brand. Hope to get a good long life out of this unit, so far, so good.

Heavy duty grates.

Needed to replace an old cooktop with side controls. Front control is much safer. Five burner much handier. Looks great with our new countertop.
